Run by the River 5K and 2-Mile Walk

Schlitz Park

The Run by the River 5K and 2-Mile Walk is the only downtown 5K and 2-mile walk that takes runners along the Milwaukee Riverwalk, through Brewer's Hill and around the historic Schlitz Brewery turned office campus. The 5K race was started by the late Gary Grunau, the previous owner of the Schlitz Park campus whose impact on both development and philanthropy changed the downtown scene as we know it.
